During the Adelaide Fringe, our 100-seater vessel transforms into a intimate performance space, where audiences can enjoy live shows, comedy, music, and art while cruising along the beautiful Port River.
With stunning waterfront views, a relaxed atmosphere, and the occasional visit from our famous Port River dolphins, this is Fringe entertainment with a difference. Artists can book our vessels as a distinctive stage for their performances, while guests enjoy the magic of the Fringe from the deck of a moving venue.
100-Seater Catamaran
Port River Cruises offers a unique floating performance space aboard our 100-seater vessel (90-passenger limit), perfect for artists seeking a memorable Fringe experience on the water. The vessel features two decks: a covered lower deck with river views and an upper deck that’s also covered but open to the river views with roll up clear blinds . There is also a small, uncovered deck out the back.
Fully-Licensed Venue
We provide all seating, a microphone and speaker system (artists please feel free to bring your own system), plus a licensed bar serving drinks and snack food. Qualified skippers, deckhands, and bar staff are included so artists can focus on their show.

Available for daylight performances only, the cruise travels along the scenic Port River, and can be accompanied by our famous dolphins.
